Meaning
Here baba Avtar Singh ji sheds the myth of different virtues that people follow in the name of rituals to please God, but he says, remembering God is the only good virtue one should follow. Some think that bathing in cold water early in the morning is the virtue. Some think that bathing repeatedly at places of pilgrimage is a virtue. Some think that feeding grain to sparrows early in the morning is a virtue. Some think that offering of mustard oil to the Saturn is a virtue. Some think that sitting in silent meditation with eyes closed is a virtue. Babaji says, all else is false, only knowing and remembering the Formless God is a virtue.
